Manifesto
The glass in our
name is not a
metaphor.
Moriarty Karabinier was founded on the premise that good clothing should outlast the season it was made for. We are not interested in volume. We are interested in permanence.
The glass in our name is a material reference, not a marketing concept. We are drawn to surfaces — to the way things look through other things. Refraction, not transparency. Something altered by being seen through something else.
We make garments from what is already available. Deadstock fabric is material that exists without a purpose until we give it one. Our collections begin with the question: what does this fabric want to become?
We do not design for the algorithm. We design for the person who will wear a piece for twelve years, repair it once, and still prefer it to anything made after.
The Process
From source
to archive.
Source
Material before concept. We begin each season with what's available in the deadstock market, not with a predetermined mood board.
Sample
First samples are cut and made in-studio. All decisions — proportion, hardware, construction — are resolved before production begins.
Produce
Production in Bethnal Green. Every garment passes through two pairs of hands for quality review before tagging.
Archive
Once a piece sells through, it enters the permanent archive. Measurements, materials, and maker records are stored indefinitely.

First access to new arrivals. Private sale announcements. We send rarely — it matters when we do.
