Linen, salt and the long light of the Danube flats — a summer season cut from shirting.
Field Study 04 began with forty metres of undyed Belgian linen left over from a cancelled hotel order. We spent the spring on the Danube flats east of Bratislava, photographing how the wind folds reeds and how salt crusts on work jackets.
The silhouettes stayed loose and practical: boxy shirts with deep hems, trousers cut to be rolled, a single overshirt in waxed cotton. Every seam was finished to be seen.
The season sold through in eleven weeks. These pieces now live in the archive — measured, photographed and recorded, like every run before them.
